What are the types of sewage?
Treated sewage refers to any wastewater/sewage water, which has gone through the sewage treatment plant. This involves at least seven stages of processes used to remove as much harmful bacteria as possible. The treated water usually goes into some river.
Untreated sewage refers to any wastewater/sewage water which hasn't gone through any stages to remove the bacterias. This means the water still contains multiple bacteria and pathogens, which are hazardous to animals. Many floods that occur contain some amount of untreated sewage water.
Many signs can give away whether the septic tank will require emptying and cleaning soon. If the draining of water is starting to slow down, this can indicate either a blockage or the septic tank is almost complete. Remember when the septic tank was last cleaned, so you have a good idea when needed. Getting foul odours from the drains is another issue as this can also mean that the septic tank is full. This is also a health hazard, so the issue must be fixed as soon as possible.
As a cesspit does not filter any of its waste products, it must require cleaning a lot more frequent than a septic tank. A septic tank must be cleaned every 45 days the most as this is how much the hole should be able to hold. However, this can change depending on how many people are using the facilities. After the installation, the cesspit should be emptied every 45 days to ensure it does not damage the concrete walls.
Drainage clearance is important to keep your drains and pipes healthy, including reducing the chance of buildups and blockages appearing over time. Drain clearance also reduces the need for drain repairs later on.
A CCTV drain survey is mainly used to investigate any holes or breaks in a pipeline. This allows you to be more accurate and spend less time/money on finding the issue. Using the CCTV drain survey technology, we do not waste our time and money blindly going into a situation. We also use it to check a sewer line to ensure there are no large or small cracks on the pipeline. It allows us to provide quick and effective service for our customers.
If you require quick and efficient removal of wastewater/effluent, we are more than happy to assist you. We can provide 24-hours support in the removal of sewage/wastewater. Not noticing any underground tanks' issues can create problems for you, such as foul smells coming from the drains and slow water removal. We can send someone to remove the wastewater from your cesspit or pools as soon as possible.
If the drainage system is blocked, this can create many issues with water removal. Our teams are fully qualified to take on these tasks and fix the problem quickly and efficiently. These blocked drains are usually caused by oil, grease and food debris collecting on the pipes' edges and overtime. They get bigger and bigger until they create a blockage that restricts water flow. Constant maintenance and cleaning are important if you wish to reduce the likelihood of having blocked drains in the future.
Wastewater can begin to flood because of an issue in the pipe (such as a crack), or a cockpit/pool is full. If this is the case, an awful smell will appear when you are near, and you will need someone to clear this up. We are more than capable of fixing or replacing your parts or removing the wastewater from your cesspit/pool to allow the water to flow correctly again. This could also happen in the joints on the pipe are open or damaged, affecting the surrounding environment.
